Rubber Dock Fenders are specifically designed based on the following parameters: 1. Berth/deck capacity, 2 Stand-off
(distance from quay to the frontal side of the fender), 3 Vessel capacity maximum and type of vessel, 3 Environment whether
sheltered or exposed ( determines safety factor in fender selection) , 4 Tidal variation ( this will determine the
length of the frontal steel panel in relation to vessels allowed to use the berth), 5 Given the above, fenders are designed
at the optimum performance and considerably cost effective fenders.
